SO BEFORE YOU CAN BECOME A FIVE STAR GENERAL, YOU MUST JOIN THE BS85 MILITARY ALSO KNOWN AS THE AOS
The BS85 Military also known as the AOS which stands for, Army of Skateboarders is a group of organized skateboarders with the intention to promote a positive skateboarding experience and help to strengthen and bring together the skateboarding community into one place . First and foremost, our top priority is to recruit and deploy as many skaters as we can while engaging in a fun and organized, well-structured manner as a friendly community. We are fun and respectable community of skateboarders. We enjoy the sport of skateboarding and value collaboration and networking. We treat our recruits and non-recruits alike with respect. We also have a ranking system, a means in which recruits and what we call the AOS; A community of individuals within the BS85 Military who train under the direction of a Five Star General, can rank up and eventually become a Five Star General. All in all, we’re just a group of skateboarders looking to have a good time while helping to grow the sport of skateboarding and change the mindset people have towards skateboarders.
WHAT IS THE BS85 MILITARY?

Join the AOS today and make your way up to becoming a 5 Star General in the BS85 Military. Becoming a 5 Star General is no easy task. To become a 5 Star General you must first become a soldier and move your way up the ranks. There are 5 Ranks. Each rank has a specific task you must complete in order to move up another rank or as we we like to call it (RANKING UP). Each time you RANK UP you earn yourself another Star. Collect 5 Stars and you will earn yourself the title of a 5 Star General and be awarded an official 5 Star General Jacket. The 5 Star General Jacket is not available for purchase. Upon completion you can proudly wear your jacket and earn Patches by completing specific tasks given out each month to 5 Star Generals.
The search is on. We are looking for skaters of all ages and abilities from Professionals to beginner levels. Whether you are just starting out, perhaps you are not sure if you even want to put your foot on a board yet and give it a shot or maybe you have been skating for a while now or you are on a Pro Level, Barker Skateboards wants you. We are always looking to recruit new skaters. We would love to have you on board and riding with us.
So I am going to assume that if you made it this far that you have made the awesome decision to become a soldier in the BS85 Military and skate along side some of the finest men and women the skateboarding world has ever seen. Right on welcome aboard soldier. The brave men and women who proudly serve within the AOS have positive outlooks on life and look forward to brighter tomorrows.
Becoming a soldier in the BS85 Military and serving the AOS will be one of the defining moments of your life. Make the best of it. Make yourself proud – do the right thing and you’ll have something positive to remember for life. Your personal decision to serve demonstrates collective strength: strength from within yourself, strength from within your family and strength from those who influence your choice to join the AOS. The BS85 Military and its Soldiers are strengthened by those who understand and support the decision of their loved one, friend or employee to join the AOS and elevate his or her future. Is the BS85 Military right for you? The BS85 military, of course, is not a non-skater job. If you join, you should be prepared to commit to skateboarding full time. Are you ready to commit to the AOS and serve in the BS85 Military. If so, to become a soldier in the BS85 Military, you must purchase a skateboard from our website. From there you will gain a one star Rank and officially be a soldier in the BS85 Military. Good Luck skaters.
At ease soldiers. Its time to rank up. Since you decided to join the BS85 Military, your success depends only on your desire and commitment to become a better skater and soldier. To gain the two star rank you must recruit a new soldier into the BS85 Military by referring them to our website, from there they must purchase a skateboard and you must purchase a product from our website.
Soldiers, its tough out there but your doing great. Eternal vigilance is the price of duty. And, to the victors go the spoils. So remember: you are the best of the best of the few and the proud. So ask not what skateboarding can do for you, only regret that you have but one life to live! but remember you still have another chance to rank up! To gain the three star rank you must purchase another skateboard from our website then recruit 2 new soldiers into the BS85 Military by referring them to our website, from there they must both purchase a skateboard from us.
Not all BS85 recruits make it this far. A lot of recruits before you have chosen a different path. You are the few, the proud and the best of the best. You are just 2 stars away from becoming a 5 star general. I have faith in you and strongly believe you can do anything you put your mind too.
You grunts sure are tough cookies. Its time you learn to face fear and look danger in the eyes. Courage is a strong part of the AOS. With physical courage, it is a matter of enduring physical activity that comes with skateboarding and at times risking personal safety. Are you ready to step it up and become the true soldier you were meant to be? Then lets rank up soldier. To gain the four star rank you must purchase a product from our website then recruit 3 new soldiers into the BS85 Military by referring them to our website, from there they must each purchase a skateboard from us.
